Second grade artists are focusing on warm and cool colors, and understanding how they blend/work together. This is a new project, and the kids seemed to love it! I even had a teacher's assistant at one school bring in their own gum ball machine to show the kids! We discussed the work of Wayne Thiebaud, and looked at his limited color palettes on his own gum ball machines. Check out some great results! (Click to enlarge!)
