Kandinsky Emotions!

Hello there!
This post will be featuring work inspired by Wassily Kandinsky. My second grade artists talk about Kandinsky's work - noticing how different lines, shapes and colors show different emotions. We talked about how he listened to music while he painted, and we did the same thing when we began our emotion adventure! As a class, we thought of different emotions we feel each day, and we talked about what colors, shapes and lines we would use to show that emotion on paper. We talked about being abstract; no smiley faces, animals, or people allowed!
The students then chose their own emotion, and thinking like Kandinsky, they began to draw and paint!
These are the results. Can you guess the emotion?
Getting into it!
